Activity: A Rabbit’s Tale
It’s storytime… find out how the animals stay bright with this fun road safety teaching resource.
Enjoy this charming book to help teach road safety. Use it to supplement your ‘be bright be seen’ lessons and learn more about how different animals stay bright at night.
How does the owl see? Why are the cat’s eyes so bright? And what are those little glowing insects? Rabbit finds out how the other animals cope in the dark and learns how to take care too.
We shared copies of this book around at one of our Road Safety Week sessions at Gretton Primary School. Our high vis bunny came along too.
Author Rob Bounds is also an experienced school travel professional and road safety officer. He originally wrote this and other books as stories for his niece and nephew.
